Fall Festival Costumes

Kids never get tired of playing dress up! This year we headed up to church for a new Fall Festival - "Slime Time". I forgot to take pictures there, but we did manage to get this one in at Grandma's house before we left.

Wilson went as Dr. Deeren, Caleb is a cop, Daniel enjoyed being batman, Clara shone as a beautiful angel - and she especially liked to show off her light-up dress, and then there is Bryanna as SuperGirl in an adorable outfit my sister Stephanie made...thanks sis!

Caleb is so proud to be part of his Daddy's hunts now. So far he shows as much sign of buck-fever as his Daddy does.

Pirates, ahoy!

The boys have been spending a lot of time as pirates. With the use of my bandanas and the eye patches Grandma helped them make, they really enjoy playing pirates. The sword playing is where we occasionally have problems!

Caleb asked for a pirate ship birthday cake, and I decided to take it a step further by hiding clues around the house to lead him to his present - the ultimate pirate gift - a giant Lego set.

Swiss Family Robinson may have something
